How does it interact with other medications? Prozac Drug Interactions When lithium, certain seizure medications, or triptans are taken together with Prozac, drug interactions may potentially occur. When these interactions occur, drug levels in your blood can increase significantly and your risks for developing side effects (such as stomach bleeding or serotonin syndrome) may be higher. Other medications that may potentially lead to Prozac drug interactions include diazepam, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, warfarin, and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. If it is taken with certain other drugs, the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered.
